Serato Scratch Live Setup
Hi Martin!
Probably there is another program out there that may be used instead of rtpmidi, however, I do not see what is the point since the problem is still there with or without rtpmidi. Even if I do not use this program, the stealth pedal will incur the same problem, so will the 3 different ports of the mpd 32. I already told you in one of my previous posts that even if I do not connect the ipad through the wireless network, and even when I keep the stealth pedal unplugged, the mpd32's 3 ports present the same problems when enabling / disabling them. The problem is not connected to the way the ipad interacts with serato, only. as I see it, the problem is with SSL 233, since I did not incur this problem before. I remember reading in the release notes of SSL 233 the following bug fix: Fixed bug where some midi controllers wouldn't display in the MIDI panel of the setup screen. Affected devices include the NI Kontrol X1. Since the stealth pedal did not even appear in the device panel in SSL231, and it appears in this panel in SSL 233, maybe the stealth pedal behaves just like NI Kontrol X1. In any case, as I see it, the problem is with SSL, not with the stealth pedal, neither with Rtpmidi. my setup worked properly before SSL233 and now, without being malicious or anything, it seems to me that you guys are trying to find other applications or hardware devices to point the finger to.

the name I-gura appears in SSL because that is how I named my computer in rtpmidi. You can name it as you want.
I do not understand what you mean by trying to recreate the issue and showing someone this problem, then they might be able to fix it. I thought the video that I did was clear enough. Or did I waste my time doing that if you guys cannot recreate the situation?

Serato Scratch Live Latest Version
- May 01, 2010 Here's a remake and up to date version of an older video of mine; how to setup and use a MIDI controller. This video shows the basics of how to setup and map a MIDI controller in Scratch Live.
- The MPD 32 has 3 ports. You can configure the pads to send midi messages to serato for example over port 1. You can configure the sliders and the rotary encoders to send midi messages to another program (cubase, ableton, whatever else) over port 2.you have one and the same device controlling 2 different programs. This is why i think it is handy. As i said, other programs such as cubase, ableton etc see the mpd 32 as 3 usb devices. Thus you can enable USB device 1 in serato and disable the.
